LOCHERBER Klinto 1817 Diffuser 2500ml
Widespread especially in Veneto, the Clinto wine (or clintòn) was drunk a “Scuea” (bowl) and accompanied the frugal meal of those in the country, shared it with friends along with a good slice of salami or “sopressa” and a “ciopeta” (the typical loaf). He arrived in the old continent from America at the beginning of the nineteenth century, when the filossera, a tiny insect parasite of the vine, seriously jeopardized the viticulture of the whole of Europe. It was decided to graft the European vine on American vine roots and hybrids, resistant to the attacks of this devastating parasite. Just from the crossing of two varieties of wild American vine was born the Clinto, characterized by a deep purple color, an intense fruity scent and an unmistakable strawberry flavor. An intriguing and little known wine, interesting to discover and, above all, difficult to find, from which we have drawn inspiration for the realization of this new, exciting and seductive fragrance.

The T2 cap is created by hand according to techniques patented by Locherber that recall a capital of a Roman temple in order to emphasize the influence of the culture of ancient Rome and create a piece of Made in Italy design to enhance even more the space that surrounds us.

Known since the dawn of time in different cultures and religions, but also in ancient medicinal practices, Oud (Oudh in the Arab world) is a very precious essential oil that can give a magical aura to the scents that contain it. The Oud is derived from the hydro-distillation of Agarwood a dark and very aromatic resin that thickens in the trunks and roots of the trees of the species Aquilaria and Gyrinops (evergreens of Southeast Asia) when they are attacked by molds, insects and parasites or mutilated due to natural phenomena such as wind, lightning and animal aggression.

The fragrance is inspired by Venice and its famous “Briccole”. The “Briccole” are oak wood poles (sometimes of larch) that in the lagoon canals of Venice delimit the navigable areas. About every twenty years the “Briccole” must be replaced because they are deteriorated by saltiness and above all by the erosion of a marine mollusc (the Teredeo navalis) which feeds on wood. Locherber Milano after purchasing the “Briccole” exhausted by the City of Venice, which certifies the origin with a certificate of origin, retrieves them into unique pieces thanks to the experience of their local craftsmen who use methods that are passed down generation to generation
